The Barrel Weave is unique and subtle -- one wouldn't even know it's chain maille. The weave features pairs of rings held in place by clever design. It's very light on the wrist, quite minimalist, and beautifully quiet.
The other Barrel Weave Bracelet in the shop is made from 18 gauge rings. This bracelet, the "filigree" size weave, is made from smaller & thinner 20 gauge rings: the pattern is more subtle and is closer to a delicate, decorative chain.
THE DETAILS:
Crafted from 20 gauge sterling silver rings; the bracelet is 3/16-inch wide (5mm). The bracelet fastens with a sterling silver toggle clasp that complements the design. Please note that the toggle is slightly hard to fasten, especially with one hand; if you prefer, you can substitute a sterling lobster clasp.
LENGTH:
This price is for a bracelet from 7 to 7.75 inches in length -- at checkout, please tell me the exact length you'd like for your perfect fit.
Of course, it can be made longer or shorter if you need it in a different length. If so, please contact me in advance, and I can give you a quote reflecting the price difference in materials & labor (approximately $5 less per half-inch if shorter than 7", or $5 more per half-inch if longer than 7.75"). I will then set up a custom-order listing for you.
