Yo ho, yo ho, a pirate's life for me. We pillage, we plunder, we rifle, and loot, Drink up, me 'earties, yo ho. We kidnap and ravage and don't give a hoot, Drink up me 'earties, yo ho.... This Maple wood pirate wood spirit was all hand carved by me in my studio using various gouges and knives, then stained in golden oak, and highlighted with the finest acrylics. Finally the piece was sealed in a non toxic water based satin polyurathane, for a durable finish. Stands approx 7 1/2" tall and log is approx 14" around. Would make a perfect gift for your mate aarrrr! All wood used by me in my carvings is either washed up on the shores of Lake Erie in Michigan or found in other various places. no live trees were harmed in the process :)
